PSYCH-K stands for Psychological Kinesiology. It is a self-help tool developed by Robert M. Williams in 1988 with the goal of changing beliefs in the subconscious mind. Subconscious beliefs are often the “invisible” cause of self-sabotaging behaviors. The PSYCH-K program was designed to help people improve the way they feel, behave and interact in life.
Most traditional tools such as insight therapy, affirmations, willpower, and journaling are limited to the conscious mind. PSYCH-K focuses on changing subconscious beliefs with the hope of likewise changing behavior, feelings, and interpretations in life. It enables the individual to change his state of mind at the first indication of stress.

In PSYCH-K, kinesiology is used to communicate with the subconscious mind. Specific body postures and movements cause neuron firings in both hemispheres of the brain, creating a state in which change can more readily occur. By using this method, it is possible for subconscious beliefs to be recognized, and replace debilitating belief with one more desirable.
A unique aspect of PSYCH-K is that a “permission” step is included to ensure that the changes are in the best interest of the person at that time. Also, there are several verifying steps to catalog the changes taking place. This process is used to satisfy the skepticism of the conscious mind.
PSYCH-K incorporates Educational Kinesiology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), acupressure, Ericksonian hypnotherapy, and various psycho-spiritual healing systems. Advanced PSYCH-K tools are streamlined and efficient, and they are therefore helpful in specific situations like breathing exercises, acupressure points, body postures, and body movements.
PSYCH-K is a non-invasive, interactive process of change with a proven record of success for over 25 years! A simple, yet powerful method to change subconscious beliefs that are self-limiting and self-sabotaging; a unique blend of various tools for change, some contemporary and some ancient, derived from modern neuroscience research, as well as ancient mind/body wisdom ;a groundbreaking approach to facilitating change at the subconscious level where at least 95% of our consciousness operates.; a process that transcends the standard methods of visualization, affirmations, willpower, and positive thinking especially effective in the areas of behavioral/habit change, wellness and stress reduction
PSYCH-K is a method to change the printout of the body learning how to rewrite the software of the mind. PSYCH-K doesn’t choose what you should believe. It helps you believe what you want. The fact is, as adults, we spend most of our time subconsciously responding to life rather than consciously creating it. Our beliefs control our bodies and our minds, and thus our lives. Many beliefs and perceptions are impervious to facts, reason, willpower, or motivation. These beliefs are usually held at the subconscious level of the mind. Where a disagreement exists between the subconscious and conscious minds, doubt and struggle occur.
It is our conscious mind that is designed to set goals and judge results; it is our volitional mind. By contrast, the subconscious is the habitual mind. It doesn’t choose actions as much as it merely automatically responds to its environment.PSYCH-K is mainly based on whole-brain integration processes derived from years of split-brain research...
You can change the character of your life by changing your beliefs. The problem you want to get rid of may be a solution to a much higher challenge. What may appear to be a disability to do one thing, it can be an ability to do or avoid something else. Because we are not powerless biochemical machines, popping a pill every time we are mentally or physically out of tune is not the answer. Don't switch off your brain, learn how to interpret its language
Re-wiring your life-script by changing subconscious beliefs is the answer when awareness + willpower = just not enough.
